Winson Optics

Customized Silk-Screen Printed Plastic Panels Manufacturer

From HMI control overlays to medical device front panels -- we engineer print-to-substrate adhesion that survives 100,000+ actuations, chemical exposure, and UV degradation.

Why Buyers Choose Us

Silk-Screen Printing Sounds Simple.
Until It Fails in the Field.

Most sourcing failures in printed plastic panels don't happen at the factory -- they happen 6 months after delivery, when ink delaminates under cleaning agents, colors drift between batches, or registration shifts make your product look unfinished. We've audited these failures firsthand. Here's how we engineer them out.

Ink Adhesion Failure After Chemical Exposure
We pre-treat all substrates with plasma activation and use substrate-matched UV-curable inks. Cross-cut adhesion test (ISO 2409, Grade 0) on every production lot.
Color Inconsistency Across Production Batches
Spectrophotometer-controlled ink mixing with Pantone/RAL library. ΔE ≤ 1.5 color tolerance maintained with documented ink formulas archived per customer.
Misregistration on Multi-Layer Prints
Automated jig-based registration system with optical alignment verification. ±0.05mm tolerance across all layers, validated with CMM before shipment.

Tolerances That Actually Matter to Engineers

We publish our real process capabilities -- not marketing claims. These figures are from our production SPC data, not lab conditions.

Print Registration
±0.05mm

Multi-layer color-to-color registration. Verified with optical comparator on first article and sampled during production run.

Dimensional Tolerance
±0.1mm

Overall panel dimensions (L×W) after CNC cutting. Tighter tolerances available with additional fixturing -- consult our engineers.

Color Consistency
ΔE ≤1.5

Spectrophotometer-measured against approved color standard. Ink formulas archived per customer for batch-to-batch consistency.

Ink Adhesion (ISO 2409)
Grade 0

Cross-cut test on every production lot. Grade 0 = 0% ink removal. Failed lots are scrapped, never reworked and shipped.

Ink Surface Hardness
≥3H pencil

Post-UV-cure hardness test per ASTM D3363. Ensures scratch resistance for panels subject to repeated operator contact.

Thickness Tolerance
±0.05mm

Substrate thickness consistency affects both print quality and fit into assemblies. Measured at 9 points per panel with micrometer.

Buyer FAQs

Questions Procurement Teams Actually Ask

Sourced from real conversations with our clients in North America and Europe.

What file formats do you accept for artwork?
We accept AI (Adobe Illustrator), PDF (vector), DXF/DWG (for dimensional drawings), and CDR files. Raster files (PNG, TIFF) at minimum 300 DPI are accepted for reference but not recommended for production artwork. We'll perform a DFM review and flag any issues before production starts -- at no charge.
How do you guarantee color consistency between production batches?
We archive your ink formulas -- exact pigment ratios, mixing weights, and viscosity targets -- in our customer database. For repeat orders, we use the same archived formula and measure the first-off against your approved color standard using a spectrophotometer. ΔE ≤1.5 is our acceptance criterion. If a batch misses this, it's reprinted before shipment.
Can you provide material certificates and test reports for EU compliance?
Yes. Standard documentation includes: ISO 9001 certificate, RoHS Declaration of Conformity, REACH SVHC Declaration, substrate material data sheets (with UL94 flammability rating if applicable), and ink system safety data sheets. For medical device applications, we can support additional documentation requirements -- discuss with our team at inquiry stage.
What's the typical lead time from order confirmation to shipment?
Prototypes (1-10 pcs): 7 business days. Small batch (50-500 pcs): 15-20 business days. Medium run (500-5,000 pcs): 20-30 business days. These timelines begin after artwork approval and deposit receipt. Rush production is available for an additional fee -- contact us to discuss.
Do you handle the full assembly, or just the printed panels?
We are a one-stop solution. Beyond printing, we offer CNC routing, laser cutting, thermoforming, PSA adhesive application, connector/hardware assembly, and kitting into customer-specified packaging. Many clients ship components to us for integration with the printed panel. Discuss your assembly needs in the inquiry form.
How do you handle non-conformances discovered after delivery?
We maintain a 100% outgoing inspection protocol, but if a non-conformance is identified post-delivery, we follow a documented 8D corrective action process. We'll request photos and samples, conduct root cause analysis, and either replace the affected units or provide a credit -- within 5 business days of issue confirmation. Our QC records allow us to trace every batch to specific production parameters.
