The Inspection Protocol That Eliminates Field Failures
Composite sheets fail in the field for three reasons: delamination, optical inconsistency, and dimensional drift. Our inspection protocol was designed specifically to catch each failure mode before the sheet leaves our facility.
Spectral Transmission Analysis
High-precision spectrophotometer measures light transmittance at 380-780nm across the full sheet surface, not just center-point sampling.
90° Peel Strength Test
Every batch undergoes ASTM D903 peel testing at the PC/PMMA interface. Minimum 4.0 N/mm threshold enforced. Delamination-risk batches are quarantined.
CMM Dimensional Verification
Coordinate Measuring Machine verifies critical dimensions on 100% of CNC-machined parts. Tolerance reports included in delivery documentation.
UV Aging Accelerated Test
UV-stabilized grades undergo 500h xenon arc lamp aging per ISO 4892-2. Yellowness Index delta reported and must remain ΔYI ≤ 2.0.
