Is this genuine Corning® Gorilla Glass or a generic aluminosilicate?
We source genuine Corning® Gorilla Glass 3, 5, and 6 with full chain-of-custody documentation. Every batch comes with a material certificate traceable to the original Corning® mill sheet. If your project requires a cost-optimized aluminosilicate alternative, we can offer that separately -- clearly labeled and priced accordingly. We never substitute without explicit client approval.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Prototypes and samples: as low as 5-10 pcs. Production MOQ is typically 200-500 pcs depending on complexity of shape and coating stack. For standard geometries with no custom coating, MOQ can be as low as 100 pcs. We're structured for B2B mid-volume runs, not one-off consumer orders -- contact us with your volume forecast and we'll structure pricing tiers accordingly.
How do you handle quality escapes and warranty claims?
Every shipment is backed by our batch traceability system. If a quality issue is identified, we initiate an 8D corrective action report within 48 hours. Defective units are replaced or credited -- your choice. Because we retain full OQC data for every batch, root cause analysis is fast and documented. Our warranty covers dimensional non-conformance, coating adhesion failure, and surface defects per agreed acceptance criteria.
Can you provide RoHS / REACH compliance documentation for EU customs?
Yes -- standard with every order. We provide a full RoHS 3 (EU 2015/863) compliance declaration and REACH SVHC screening report. For medical device customers, we can additionally provide biocompatibility data per ISO 10993 for the coating materials used. These documents are pre-prepared and available within 24 hours of order confirmation.
What lead times should we plan for in our production schedule?
Samples: 7-14 business days from drawing approval. First production run: 3-5 weeks depending on coating complexity and volume. Repeat orders with established tooling: 2-3 weeks. We recommend clients place a blanket PO with quarterly releases for stable supply -- we offer buffer stock programs for high-volume accounts to eliminate lead-time risk entirely.
Can we conduct a factory audit before placing a production order?
Absolutely -- we welcome it. Our founder Iris spent 12 years as a procurement professional and has conducted hundreds of supplier audits herself. Our facility is audit-ready: documented process flows, calibrated equipment records, operator training logs, and SPC data are all maintained continuously. We can also arrange a virtual factory tour via video call for international clients before committing to an on-site visit.
