What isthe material Lithium Trib orate( LiB₃O₅)?

Lithium Triborate  (LBO)  is a high-performance nonlinear optical crystal with the chemical formula LiB₃O₅, which is applied in frequency conversion systems for high-power lasers.

Wide light transmission range: It can transmit light in the wavelength range of 160–2600 nm, covering from deep ultraviolet to mid-infrared, suitable for multi-wavelength laser systems.

High laser damage threshold: The measured damage threshold at 1064 nm wavelength exceeds 10 GW/cm², suitable for high-power and long-term stable operation.

Small dispersion angle and wide phase matching tolerance angle: Improves beam collimation, reduces alignment difficulty, and supports high-precision optical system integration.

Achievable non-critical phase matching: The world’s first practical 90° non-critical phase matching crystal, improving frequency conversion efficiency.

Chemical stability: Strong resistance to deliquescence, it can still be able to work stably in a relative humidity environment.
